Staff Organizers

MAPSEA Organizers are the planners, analysts, and specialists of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council. Our organizers span multiple departments, levels of experience, and tenure within the agency. This group began organizing because we believe a union is the most effective and trusted way to support employees. We hope a union will create stability, consistency, and protection for all staff at the agency, allowing us to do our best work for the communities we serve.

AFSCME is the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFL/CIO. Council 93 represents more than 45,000 workers and public servants throughout New England in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts.
